More than 28 years ago, Families with Children from China made a promise not to forget the children in China’s orphanages who need the love and support of family.
Families with Children from China’s Orphanage Assistance Program, through the generosity of our donors, has transformed the lives of thousands of children in orphanages across China. In partnership with the Amity Foundation, a widely respected non-governmental organization based in Nanjing, FCC Orphanage Assistance provides vital parenting, education, and developmental resources to children in orphanage care.
Despite enormous progress taking place in China, orphanages in the areas we serve still need our support to meet the needs of children who have lost or been separated from their parents. Many children coming into orphanage care suffer from serious medical conditions, complications of premature birth, or congenital birth disorders.
